    Instructions:

    1. Launch the Norton Antivirus menu by double-clicking on its desktop icon.

    2. Left-click on “Settings.”

    3. Open the “Smart Firewall” tab.

    4. Left-click on “Configure.”

    5. Left-click on the “Advanced Settings” tab.

    6. Select “Add” to open the “Add Rule Wizard.”

    7. Click “Allow.”

    8. Left-click on “Connections to and from other computers” and then left-click on “Next.”

    9. Left-click on “Only the computers and sites listed below” and then select “Add.”

    10. Left-click on “Individually,” type in the website that your program is attempting to access and press “Next.”

    11. Left-click on the “Only Communications that match all types and ports listed below” option then select “Add.”

    12. Type in the port number that was displayed on your firewall warning and then press “OK.”

    13. Type a name for this new “Rule” and then press the “Finish” button to unblock your file.
