    Instructions:

    1. Click “Go” at the top of the screen and click “Applications” from the drop-down menu. Alternatively, click the “Finder” icon on your dock and click “Applications” in the Finder sidebar.

    2. Double-click the “Symantec Solutions” folder to open it, and then double-click the Symatec Uninstaller icon.

    3. nClick the box next to “Norton Antivirus Application” and choose the “Uninstall” button at the bottom of the screen.

    4. Click “Yes” in the dialog box. Type the system administrator password in the password field to confirm the uninstallation of the application. Click “OK” to proceed.

    5. Click the “Close” button in the “Deleted Applications” window, and close any open application. Click the “Restart” button in the dialog box to restart your computer and complete the uninstallation.

    6. Insert the Norton AntiVirus installation CD in the optical drive and double-click the “Norton Antivirus” icon on the desktop.

    7. Double-click the “Install for Mac OS X” folder, and double-click the “Uninstall” folder.

    8. Double-click the “Symantec Uninstaller” icon and click the check box next to “Norton AntiVirus”. Click the “Uninstall” button at the bottom of the Symantec Uninstaller window.

    9. Click “Uninstall” on the pop-up dialog box to confirm the uninstallation and complete the process.
